Q&A With Author Rachel Hanna
What types of books do you like to write most? I love writing sweet, clean romance, usually set in a small town atmosphere. To me, small towns are so interesting and complex. I love writing really deep characters that my readers get attached to during the book. One of my most popular series is January Cove, and it's set in a small beach town. My other ongoing series is Whiskey Ridge which is set in a small mountain town near the Blue Ridge Mountains. I enjoy being able to create fun characters that I can weave throughout the books. But the best part is writing the happy ending for each couple!
How would you describe your writing style? I think I write how I speak, which isn't always perfect grammar! Even though my background is as a Journalist, I wouldn't want to write the way they taught us in college. I try to tell the story as best I can, the way the characters tell it to me in my head. My character dialogue is usually very realistic because I can hear them talking (and sometimes arguing) in my head!
What plans do you have for future books? Well, I plan to write a lot more in the January Cove series as well as the Whiskey Ridge series. I love those small towns! I also plan on writing some more standalone books and maybe even some women's fiction/chick lit type books. Writing stories that focus more on friends or even sisters is something I'm interested in exploring! Basically, I do whatever these voices in my head tell me to do!

The January Cove Series Books 15 eBook Rachel Hanna Reviews
Wow I don't know I guess I'm an emotional person, but you got me,laughing and crying. Can't wait to read the next few books
Loved them all Great family. So c!one to each other. They each found love. Each had family support. Great series
I read the January cove series from 1-5. I enjoyed them all. The Parker Family are great people. Their Mother Adele raised them well. They all have a big Heart and very generous to all. Each one has had a 'bump' in their life but it has made them stronger.
Well written but never would this happen in one family. I liked it though nd it read fast and good.
Enjoyed the book box set but it was full of errors making it somewhat frustrating to read. The first four books were normal print. The next book was huge print and book #6 was extreamly small print.
This is the first five books of the January Cove Series that deals with the five Parker siblings who live in the small town of January Cove. The Parker siblings consist of four brothers and a sister. I absolutely loved this family and loved to see how each of their love stories evolved. This series was so good that I couldn't put it down. If you want to sit and relax and go to a happy place away from your stressful live this is a great series to get lost in
From Kyle and Jenna to Brad and Ronnie. These 5 books were amazing. Each couple faced their own challenges and struggles but in the end, love always conquers all. It was so hard to put these books down. You could actually feel the emotions each couple faced in each book. While I've never experienced a lot of what these couples went through, I got married to my high school sweetheart at 19 and now have 3 beautiful daughters, so I've gone through my share of struggles. I know that if you love enough, anything is possible. I would recommend these books to anyone. There's romance and drama that will keep you reading until the very end!
